Through the window, in the crowd,
I always stare at the sunset.
Dense cars, glittering river, uneven buildings, silver canned beer.
Sunset, make me feel proud.
Shout out to me—
good job, well done
another great day, wasn’t it?
Through my eyes, to the crowd
I always encourage them.
Through the window, in the crowd,
I always stare at city lights.
Busy cars, dark river, pointed skyscraper, white paper.
City lights, make me cry,
Whisper to me.
Should I give up, when will this be the end.
Tomorrow will be another tough day.
There will be thousands of sleepless nights.
Through our eyes, to me, to them, we say
I am not the only one crying every night.
Console me,
city lights.
