Pitch hosted our first Open Mic Night. To give a space for student creativity, Pitch hosted our first Open Mic Night. Students gathered in the Little Theater on November 4th, 2016 to share their various works. The lineups included poetry readings and short stories, but also featured a comedy act and a musical performance. After a successful event, Pitch and The Lutz Center for Community Service collaberated to co-host another Open Mic Night on January 27th, 2017 in rememberance of Martin Luther King Day. Photo albums of the nights can be found on the Pitch Facebook page.
New interviews in Volume 8. Check out the growing Interview section! The Pitch staff conducted interviews with three esteemed writers: Amitt Mahajan, Robert Antoni, and Bob Watts.
